Industry experts and practitioners exchanged numerous cases of “very true-life” frauds that are currently being processed in their organizations. They also talked about how they are dealing with them, and how cutting-edge IT solutions are able to meet their requirements. A compelling example was the BIK PAF solution at Kasa Stefczyka, which was successfully implemented jointly by Kasa + BIK + VSoft 😊.    

Our conversations focused not only on the present, but also moved into the future. We collectively wondered how our sector will look in 5 years and how the market will be prepared to combat the rapidly changing know-how of criminals. We also addressed the issue of how, on a common, cross-sectoral level, to plan actions in order to defend against such threats. Another crucial aspect was the area of fraud prevention both in the field of banking, lending institutions, insurance and institutions supporting the anti-fraud process, such as BIK and ERIF. All participants stressed that one of the main challenges that institutions face will be the area of customer education and support. It is necessary to provide them with the knowledge about the problem in an appropriate way, explain how to protect themselves against it, what the possible consequences are, and how the “what if…” process works. From our point of view, as a technology company, the goal set for the meeting – exchange of ideas, experiences, practices in the area of fraud, extortion and security – was achieved, and the knowledge, directions of development and contacts gained during the meeting – are priceless 😊.
